1 DAY GREAT OCEAN ROAD EXPERIENCE

Explore one of the world’s most stunning coastal drives! Heading out of Melbourne early we pass through Torquay before stopping for morning tea at a nearby location. Follow the twists and turns of the breathtaking Great Ocean Road enjoying spectacular coastal photo opportunities. Stop off to see cuddly koala’s in the wild.

Travel to Apollo Bay for a picnic lunch (included), where you also have time to enjoy the magnificent Southern Ocean. After lunch we explore the Otway National Park, walking through an ancient temperate rainforest, admiring some of the world’s tallest trees. Driving through rolling hills, we head towards Port Campbell National Park and the awe-inspiring 12 Apostles. Hear some of the tragic tales about the shipwreck coast and view remarkable rock formations at Loch Ard Gorge. Check out the fallen London Bridge and the quaint fishing village of Port Campbell.

After a day packed with wildlife, surf beaches, nature walks, amazing rock formations and striking coastal views, relax as we head back to Melbourne, stopping in the township of Colac for dinner.

1 DAY PENGUIN PARADE TOUR

See the famous Penguin Parade of Phillip Island. Travelling out from Melbourne, we start our day with lunch (winter) in Tooradin. We then head over to Maru Koala & Animal Park, where we get to meet some furry Australian favourites. Get up close with koalas and handfeed kangaroos, wallabies and emus.

Travel over the bridge and onto Phillip Island, which is known for its rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, natural beauty and unique wildlife experiences. Watch and be amazed by the giant surf at Woolamai Beach and spend time enjoying a serene coastal walk. Take a stroll along the coastal boardwalk at the Nobbies and view the stunning rocky coastline, home to a colony of Australian fur seals.

Enjoy a complimentary dinner (summer) before heading off to view the Penguin Parade. Check out the award winning Visitors Centre and as the sun begins to set, watch the cute little penguins emerge from the sea and waddle across the beach and return home to their sand dune burrows. What an amazing and memorable experience!

1 DAY GRAMPIANS GREAT ESCAPE

Head out of Melbourne to the Grampians and experience one of the world’s oldest and most remarkable mountain ranges. An area that is rich in Aboriginal history and that has an abundance of native wildlife. After a break for morning tea, we travel into the heart of the Grampians National Park where we get to stretch our legs by walking to the Boroka Lookout where amazing mountain views await.

Immerse yourself in Aboriginal beliefs at the Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre, and then enjoy lunch at Halls Gap (own expense). Hike to the remarkable Jaws of Death/Balconies and Reeds Lookout, taking in the magnificent views and scenery. Then take a break at the base of Mackenzie Falls. Return to Melbourne, stopping along the way for dinner
