Heli to Kaitiaki Adventures’ exclusive entrance to the Okere River on the Te Akau block. This land of Hinerangi & Hinekiri, is where 10 kilometers of spectacular whitewater awaits.

Meet up with the Kaituna Jet Boat for the last 12 kilometers of this truly world class combination of amazing scenery and adrenaline overload.
We will collect you from your accommodation in Rotorua and transport you to our office, which is nestled beside Hells Gate and Wai Ora Spa and Wellness Centre for your Helicopter, Sledging and Jet Boat experience.
You are required to change into the protective clothing we provide for you. Once we have everyone dressed in their gear we take you to the river, where we go though some basic land based training. Once you’ve mastered the techniques on land, we then head for the water for some further schooling.
The fun begins after you’ve had comprehensive instructions from our qualified guides. Your guides are the best in their field and they are there to guarantee you the experience of a lifetime!
