What to Bring: Towel, sunscreen, swimming costume, sunglasses, money for drinks, change of clothes and warm jumper/jacket for cooler days. Small bags only. We can store bags here at CDC for $10 per bag/ per trip.

Enjoy the sumptuous meals prepared by our experienced chefs. At night sit back and relax in the Lounge Bar or stroll on deck to see the amazing night sky.
The M.V. Kangaroo Explorer is a modern 25-metre catamaran specifically designed for Queensland coastal cruising. Each of our 16 cabins (twin, double and 4-berth) is fully air-conditioned, carpeted, has its own en-suite facilities and port hole or window. On the main deck there is a spacious saloon served by a top class galley and a well stocked bar. The top deck offers an enclosed air-conditioned sun lounge as well as an open and shaded sundeck. There is a library situated in the sun lounge for your convenience. The Kangaroo Explorer is equipped with a spacious dive deck providing easy access to and from the water. This is a unique opportunity to cruise and dive through one of the world's great natural wonders in style and comfort. Start the day with a leisurely breakfast then relax on the sundeck between dives and let the world drift slowly by enjoying the remoteness of you location. As dusk settles, get ready for a possible night dive. Our chef will tantalise your taste buds with excellent meals freshly prepared on the boat. Most dietary requirements are catered for.
Schedules, snorkel and dive site movements and number of snorkel and dives sessions planned are subject to weather and other conditions and are executed by the Master of the Vessel for the benefit and safety of all passengers and crew on the day.

6.45 am - Free pick-up from city accommodation
7.30 am - transfer to the outer reef via Fitzroy Island
9.45 am - Arrival at the reef
11.00 am - Lunch
12.30 pm - 1st snorkel and dive session
2.30 pm - Transfer to next snorkel and dive site
4.00 pm - 2nd snorkel and dive session
6.00 pm - Dinner
7:00 pm - Night Dive
DAY 2
5.30 am - Wake-up call
6.00 am - First snorkel and dive session of the day
7.00 am - Breakfast
7.30 am - Transfer to next snorkel and dive site
8.00 am - Second snorkel and Dive session
11.00 am - Final snorkel and Dive session
12.00 pm - Lunch
2.45 pm - Depart for Cairns on M.V. Reefkist via Fitzroy Island
Departs: 7:30am from the Marlin Marina in Cairns daily.
Transfers from Cairns City Accommodation start at 6.45.
Returns: You will return at approx 4:45 pm on the second afternoon
