Cairns Dive Centre: 5 Day Open Water Dive Course /Open Water Reef Explorer
Your open water dive course is the ticket to a lifetime of underwater exploration, discovery and adventure. This course is taught to an international standard and the knowledge, skills and experience that you gain on this program will allow you to dive all over the world.

3 day and 2 night on the Great Barrier Reef

Certification
Meals and accommodation are provided while on the liveaboard.
Transfers to and from CBD accommodation
Extra costs:
$20 port, reef and fuel levy per person per day at sea;
Money for drinks, (All bookings made after 1 April 2015 will have the levies included in the course price)
$150 (deposit only) for prescription mask.
You will need to find your own accommodation in Cairns - please see our site for options.
Bonus:
Night dive! (2nd night on the live aboard you are already certified and can do a night dive).
Languages:
All courses are taught in English, however manuals and exams are available in other languages.
The 5 day Open Water Dive Course is designed to get you certification and have more time out on the Great Barrier Reef to develop your diving skills . You will take 2 days of pool and theory training, followed by 3 day and 2 night on the Great Barrier Reef aboard M. V Kangaroo Explorer. On the reef you will complete 4 training dives and do 5 certified dives (4 Day dives and one night certified dive).
This course provides you with the theoretical skill and the practical skill that you require to dive anywhere in the world.
Departs: Course begins on demand - first two days are pool and theory, then spend 3 days and 2 nights liveaboard which departs daily at 7.30am from Cairns Marlin Marina.
Courtesy shuttle bus picks up from 7am from Cairns City accommodation - included free of charge!
Returns: You will return roughly 5pm on each day, and on the third day of the liveaboard.
