Cairns Dive Centre: Open Water Island and Reef Escape
Open Water Dive Course - 1 Day Fitzroy Island and 1 Day trip to the Outer reef
PADI Open Water Certification:
2 days pool and theory/ 1 single day trip to Fitzroy Island (2 training dives) and 1 single day trip to tyhe Outer Reef on MV Reefkist (2 more training dives)
No accommodation is included in this dive course. You wuill need accommodation every night in Cairns.
Note all criteria must be met before open water certification will be granted.
Students must be able to pass a swim test. Some medial conditions will prevent you from diving. Open Water (only) course students over 45 years old, or anyone who exceeds a BMI requirement or have pre-existing medical conditions will require a dive medica. The medical cost is not included in the price.
Day 1 - Pool and Theory in Cairns at our training facility
Day 2- pool and Theory in Cairns at our training facility
Day 3 - Fitzroy Island Day Trip ( 2 training dives)
Day 4 - Outer Reef day trip (final 2 training dives)
Accommodation pick up is included in the price for all CBD accommodation, $20 for south Cairrns and Northern Beaches accommodation. 8:00am CBD area pick up.
Self Drive students please be at CDC Dive Shop by 8am on day 1. (121 Abbott Street Cairns)
No accommodation is included in this dive course.
Lunch is only included on Day 4 on the outer reef. You must supply every other meals throughout your dive course.
