DAY 1: Travel south over the Bombay Hills into lush pastoral land of the Waikato River Valley. We cross the Mamaku Ranges and arrive at in Rotorua - you may choose an additonal option at this point We continue our journey through Rotorua and visit Te Puia (Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and Maori Arts & Craft Institute ) for a guided tour through this thermal area with its famous Puhutu Geyser. After Te Puia you are taken to your accommodation. This evening you will be fully entertained. Enjoy a night of truly authentic, traditional culture with an hour long Maori Concert followed by a superb New Zealand Hangi

DAY 2 ( Our tours are flexible and allow you to find activities to meet your needs. We have provided free time on the FINAL DAY of your tour for you to choose what you would like to do. - You may add as many days as  you like and 2 - 3 activities per day - please discuss with us how much time is needed  for  each activity

FO4: Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland     Wai-O-Tapu is a thermal reserve where the earth takes leave of its senses and produces orange rock, yellow water and other amazing

                                                                       sights. This phenomenon is produced by the high mineral content in the area and historic volcanic eruptions.

FO5: The Agrodome                                    Visit the Agrodome for a 45 minute farm show which includes demonstrations of sheep shearing, cow milking and working farm dogs.

FO6: Hobbiton Movie Set                           As you reach Matamata you will join Hobbiton Tours. After your tour of Hobbiton you will be transferred to Rotorua for lunch at

FO7: Agrodome Farm tour                       Join the Agrodome Farm Tour for a taste of life on the farm. You'll be guided by a genuine kiwi (a New Zealander that is, not bird!)

                                                                    animals and hand feed them if you wish.
FO8 Maori Concert                                      Add a 30 minute Maori Cultural performance at Te Puia

We will meet you at 2pm and continue our journey via Arapuni Hydro Dam to the Waitomo Caves where a guide takes you through the Limestone formed Glow-worm Caves where thousands of tiny phosphorescent lights shine over your head.

From Waitomo we return to Auckland and take you back to your hotel arriving at approximately. 8pm

You can also add on an EXTRA NIGHTS in the middle of your tour in Rotorua, Lake Taupo, Waitomo Caves or at the Ski Field.

Departs: Auckland at approx 7am on Day 1
Returns: Auckland at approx 8pm on Final
Day.
