Your window into paradise. North Stradbroke Island is Queensland's most popular Island yet is just off the coast from Brisbane. Straddie is the second largest sand island in the world - almost 40 km long it has everything - the untouched beauty of its beaches and rugged coastline, forests with large numbers of kangaroos and koalas, and it is surrounded by crystal clear waters that you can swim in safely all year round. A unique and memorable experience of Brisbane and Australia. North Stradbroke's waters are home to large schools of dolphin, manta rays, and turtle – all of which can be seen from the Headland - Point Lookout. A bonus is that in Winter, Point Lookout is considered to be Australia’s best land-based vantage point for spotting the migrating Humpback Whale.

  • Fully guided and includes return bus and ferry transfers to Stradbroke Island.
  • The cruise across Moreton Bay is a tour in itself!
  • A refreshing swim in Brown Lake with its pure white beaches and its Ti Tree oil stained waters. Nature's own day spa!
  • Walk the Gorge. This fantastic walk around the headland includes some spectacular scenery. Get you cameras ready for the “blow” from Whale Rock or that iconic beach shot. Spot the wild life. Stradbroke has large colonies of koala. Kangaroos can often be seen lazing in the sun.
  • In its crystal clear waters, an abundance of marine life that can be easily spotted.
  • Visit Point Lookout. A bonus in Winter (May to October) is a great chance to see the Humpback Whale.
  • Take in all the popular spots – Cylinder and Main Beaches, the historical town of Dunwich and the fishing village of Amity. Myora Springs – hear about the battle between aborigines and the military that occurred here.
  • Lunch is provided on this tour (restaurant at Strabroke Island Beach Hotel -choice of main course).

  • Departs Brisbane at 7:45am and returns 4:45pm
  • Tour travels a short distance to Cleveland and boards a vehicular ferry for the 40 minute cruise to North Stradbroke Island.
  • Guide takes you to major points of interest on the Island. Travel time between destinations is short so there is plenty of time for you to enjoy this beautiful Island.
  • Tour is very nature based with guests spending time finding Australian wildlife such as koalas, kangaroo, dolphin, sea turtles. Rarely will you be disappointed.Time available for swimming at both Brown Lake and Cylinder Beach.
  • Food / drinks can be purchased on the Ferry.
  • Tour visits al the major detinations  the Island - Brown Lake, Myora Springs, Amity Point, Point Lookout, Gorge Walk, Dunwich, Cylinder Beach
  • Lunch is incuded at th Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel - choice of main courses.

Brisbane: Departs 7:45am from bus stop 125, Bus Stop 125, Roma Street (outside Brisbane Transit Centre - opposite Police building entrance) at 7:45am. Please be 10 minutes early.

A private hotel pickup may be available for an additional charge - $15 per person. Please contact office on 0488 332 257 the day prior to departure to arrange.

Bus travels to Cleveland where it boards a vehicle ferry to North Stradbroke Island - ferry travel time approx 40 minutes.
