Please be at Spectrum Ave @ Dingo’s Backpacker at 7.30am for the departure of Premier Bus at 7.40am to be taken to Puma Roadhouse, Kybong.  Please wait for the Sunset Safari Coach where the coaches stop.

  • Spectacular scenery of Lady Musgrave Lagoon and Island

  • Underwater observatory on the reef
  • Snorkelling in the lagoon to find “Nemo”

PAYMENT

Your Tour payment is broken up into 2 components, your Sunset Safaris ticket price component ($799), and your Fraser Island - National Park Fees, and Boat Access & Reef Tax component ($90.00 Fraser Island national Park Fees and $185.00 Great Barrier Reef Boat and Reef Fees = Total of $275). The Fraser Island - National Park Fees, ($90.00 on departure for Fraser Island) and Boat Access & Reef Tax ($185 on departure for Great Barrier Reef) must be paid in CASH to driver upon departure.

CANCELLATION POLICY DUE TO STRONG WINDS

Occasionally strong winds will cause the cancellation of the boat that takes us to the Great Barrier Reef. Sunset Safaris will always endeavour to cancel or postpone the excursion to the Town of 1770 before time of departure if winds are too strong. However, due to the unpredictability of winds, we may arrive at the Town of 1770, and be told by the boat company that the trip has been cancelled. In the uncommon event that this occurs, Sunset Safaris will refund the total sum of the purchase price of the Boat ticket and reef tax ($185) at the town of 1770. A range of other activities such as snorkelling and diving in sheltered waters and much more may be arranged by Sunset Safaris Staff at 1770, and these optional activities are then payable by the customer.

CUSTOMER CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice incurs a 100% cancellation fee
Cancellations with less than 72 hours, but not less than 24 hours, incurs a 50% cancellation fee
Cancellations with less than 7 days notice, but not less than 72 hours notice incurs a 25% cancellation fee
Cancellations not less than 7 Days notice will incur a 5% cancellation fee (administrative processing).
